Record a short family voice update
Start with one ordinary sentence, add one useful detail, and say whether you want a reply. A voice note can remain brief and optional.
A simple script
“Hello [name]. I wanted to say [ordinary update]. [One detail I want to share]. [Reply preference, if any].” For example, “Lovely morning here. I finished the book you mentioned. No need to reply now.”
Before recording
- Check who receives the attached note.
- Choose somewhere without another person’s conversation.
- Keep account details and private documents out of the recording.
- Use your direct contact route if you need an immediate answer.
Check what you recorded
Use playback where available before finishing. If the recording is unclear or contains something unintended, replace it before sharing. Microphone permission and the recipient’s ability to open the attachment need separate checks during setup.
