Prepare while the old phone is available

• Confirm which Apple Account belongs to the phone owner.
• Review the connected people and their current contact details.
• Export information you want to retain and open the copy.
• Keep an ordinary way to reach the other people.
• Note the reminder time you want to use on the new phone.

Test the new phone independently

1. Install or open DailyCheck on the new iPhone.
2. Review the information and connection status actually present.
3. Resolve any account or invitation requirement shown.
4. Send one fresh check-in and confirm it with a recipient.
5. Decide what to do with the old phone only after reviewing the results.

Migration is not established by a backup icon
