Setup & troubleshooting

Save a DailyCheck export where you can find it

Choose a recognizable Files destination when exporting DailyCheck information, then open the saved file before relying on it.

Choose who can access the destination

A local folder and an iCloud Drive folder have different availability. Review whether the destination is shared. Avoid saving private check-ins into a folder used by people who should not receive them.

Save and reopen the result

  1. Open DailyCheck’s export control and select the available format you need.
  2. Use Save to Files in the share sheet when available.
  3. Choose a folder and a recognizable filename.
  4. Finish saving, then open Files and locate that exact file.
  5. Open it and check that the intended information is readable.

An export is not a restore promise

A saved file can retain readable information. It does not necessarily reinstall DailyCheck, reconstruct private shares, or restore app state. Before deleting information, verify the copy rather than assuming an export action completed.
