Resolve a DailyCheck iCloud sign-in prompt

Check that this iPhone is signed in to its owner’s Apple Account. DailyCheck’s private sharing requires iCloud on both people’s phones.

Keep the two accounts separate

A sender and recipient do not need one shared password. Each uses their own account. If another person helps with setup, the phone owner enters account credentials privately.

Check the phone’s account state

  1. Open iPhone Settings.
  2. Review the account area at the top of Settings.
  3. If sign-in is required, complete Apple’s sign-in steps using the phone owner’s account.
  4. Resolve an Apple account prompt through Apple’s controls rather than sending credentials to DailyCheck support.
  5. Return to DailyCheck and retry the invitation or connection action that showed the prompt.

If the prompt continues

Check internet access and Apple’s service status. Record the wording shown by the app and whether Apple Settings shows a signed-in account. Avoid signing out casually, because that can affect other information on the phone.
