Review a new check-in routine after one week

Ask whether the routine helped both people and whether it still feels voluntary. Review the arrangement rather than counting taps as a success score.

Questions for a short conversation

“Was the reminder useful?” “Did the update say enough?” “Did receiving it create an expectation neither of us wanted?” “Should we keep, change, or stop the routine?” Each person can answer differently.

Make only the changes you agree

  • Adjust the sender’s reminder if its timing was awkward.
  • Review whether the same recipients still want access.
  • Choose a direct reply route when requests were unclear.
  • Remove any expectation that a quiet day explains someone’s condition.
  • Agree when to discuss the routine again, if either person wants that.

A possible decision message

“Let’s keep [part that helped], change [specific part], and use [contact route] for replies.” A review can end the routine too. DailyCheck does not assess relationships or score adherence.
