Pause your check-in reminder

Use DailyCheck’s reminder controls when your usual routine changes. A paused reminder does not stop you from opening the app to check in.

Adjust the prompt

  1. Open DailyCheck’s settings.
  2. Find “Daily reminder”.
  3. Use the available pause control and review the displayed paused-until time.
  4. Tell your chosen people if you also want a break from your shared routine.
  5. Use “Resume daily reminder” when you want the prompt again.

A pause is personal

Changing a reminder changes the prompt on your phone. It does not automatically explain your plans to recipients.

Before a trip

Review the time you want to use in the new routine. Send an optional note if you want your people to know when you will next check in.

Review a new check-in routine after one week

Ask whether the routine helped both people and whether it still feels voluntary. Review the arrangement rather than counting taps as a success score.

Set a daily check-in reminder

Open DailyCheck’s settings and choose a time under “Daily reminder”. Allow notifications on your iPhone so you can see the prompt.
