Explain that you are stopping shared check-ins
Tell the person that your sharing arrangement is ending, then use DailyCheck’s access controls. A message explaining the decision does not revoke access.
A message to adapt
“I am stopping our DailyCheck sharing arrangement. I will change the access in the app. We can still use [ordinary contact route] when we want to talk.” Only include that final sentence if you want it.
Pair the explanation with the app action
- Choose whether you want to send the explanation.
- Review the person’s access in DailyCheck.
- Stop access and read the result.
- Resolve any error before assuming access ended.
- Remove the person only after the app allows it.
Separate a pause from an ending
Pausing your own reminder changes a prompt. Ending access changes who can receive shared information. Earlier copies may remain outside the app, so avoid saying that every trace has been deleted.
