Understand removing the app and deleting information

Removing DailyCheck from the Home Screen, offloading it, deleting the app, and using its “Delete everything” control are different actions.

An icon is not the information

Removing an icon can leave the installed app in App Library. Offloading is an iPhone storage feature that can keep documents and data. Neither action establishes that a private connection was revoked.

Choose the action by its purpose

  • To move an icon, edit the Home Screen.
  • To free app installation space, review iPhone’s offloading explanation.
  • To stop another person’s access, use DailyCheck’s access controls and confirm the result.
  • To remove app information, review “Delete everything” and its confirmation.
  • To retain readable information, verify an export before a deletion decision.

Do not reinstall as casual troubleshooting

Deleting an app may lose local data. If your actual goal is recovery, first try reopening, restarting, updating, and a useful support report. Files already exported or copied by recipients have their own lifecycle.
