Setup & troubleshooting

Delete your DailyCheck information

In Settings, use “Delete everything”. DailyCheck stops shared access before removing your information from this iPhone.

Before and after deletion

  1. Export anything you need to keep and check that the copy opens.
  2. Open DailyCheck’s settings and choose “Delete everything”.
  3. Read the confirmation carefully.
  4. Confirm the action and wait for the app’s result.
  5. Check the final state. If the app reports an error, do not assume deletion finished.

Shared access comes first

The app tries to revoke recipients’ access before deleting local information. If it cannot confirm revocation, resolve that problem before retrying.

Separate copies remain separate

Recipient screenshots, exports, and copies outside the app follow the holder’s own controls. Uninstalling the app is not the same action as confirmed deletion and revocation.
