Clarify an older family update

Name the older record and give the current information directly. Do not let “latest received” imply “sent today” when the displayed date is earlier.

A correction message

“The update dated [date] describes that day. Today, [current update]. Please use [contact route] if you want to ask about the change.” Keep the new statement limited to what you actually want to share.

Remove the ambiguity

  1. Read the exact date and content of the older record.
  2. Identify which detail could now be misunderstood.
  3. Tell the intended people the current information through a suitable direct route.
  4. Send a new DailyCheck check-in if you want a current app record.
  5. Ask a recipient to read back the new record when testing delivery.

Do not claim an edit changed every copy

An explanation can correct understanding. It cannot rewrite a screenshot or export someone already holds. If the wrong date comes from phone settings, investigate that display issue separately.
