Tell an alert apart from a received check-in
Open DailyCheck and read the record itself when confirming delivery. An alert, its absence, and a saved check-in provide different evidence.
What the sender can confirm
The sender can inspect the status and date of a check-in recorded on their phone. That does not establish when another person opened it or whether their phone presented an alert.
Compare the actual update
- Ask the sender to identify one fresh test record.
- Open DailyCheck on the recipient’s phone.
- Compare the sender, displayed date, status, and test note.
- If the record is present but no alert appeared, review notification presentation.
- If the record is absent, investigate acceptance, internet access, and sharing.
An alert is not an acknowledgment
A notification appearing on a phone does not mean someone read the update or accepted a request. Agree on replies through a direct conversation when you need an acknowledgment.
