Setup & troubleshooting

A check-in hasn’t arrived

Check the connection status and internet access on both phones. Ask the sender whether they actually sent the update you expected.

Test one thing at a time

  1. Ask the sender to open DailyCheck and confirm a new check-in exists on their phone.
  2. Check that the recipient accepted the private invitation.
  3. Make sure both phones have internet access and can use iCloud.
  4. Open DailyCheck on the recipient’s phone and check the latest record’s date.
  5. Send one fresh test check-in and ask the recipient to confirm its content.

Avoid assumptions about a person

A missing record can mean no tap, a setup problem, or a delayed connection. DailyCheck does not use that absence to infer someone’s wellbeing.

Keep a direct route available

Use your usual phone or messaging route when you need to reach the person. If the app still cannot deliver, report the test steps and device versions to support.

Keep your daily check-in in DailyCheck
