Setup & troubleshooting
Make a DailyCheck notification audible
Review the app’s Sounds setting and your iPhone’s silent and volume controls when an alert appears without an audible sound.
Identify the symptom
- The notification actually appears on the phone.
- The expected check-in is visible in DailyCheck.
- The problem is sound, rather than a missing record.
- You are testing a new alert rather than opening an old one.
Check sound presentation
- Open Settings, then Notifications, and select DailyCheck.
- Review Allow Notifications and Sounds where shown.
- Review your iPhone’s silent setting and alert volume.
- Check whether an active Focus silences the app.
- Test again while the phone is in the state you normally use.
Choose interruption deliberately
An audible prompt can help with your own routine. It is not an alarm about another person’s condition. If sound remains unavailable, record the exact device settings and ask for help without repeatedly reinstalling the app.
