Allow DailyCheck during an iPhone Focus

Review the apps allowed by your active Focus. A Focus can silence a DailyCheck alert even when app notifications are enabled.

Identify which Focus is active

Check Control Center for Work, Sleep, Do Not Disturb, or another Focus. Review the one actually active when the alert was quiet. Changing a different Focus will not explain that test.

Review the app exception

  1. Open iPhone Settings and choose Focus.
  2. Select the relevant Focus and open Apps.
  3. Review whether that list allows or silences apps.
  4. Include DailyCheck in the allowed apps, or remove it from the silenced apps, if that is your preference.
  5. With the Focus still active, test a new reminder or newly shared check-in.

Keep alert behavior separate from sharing

This setting changes which alerts can interrupt you. It does not accept an invitation, resend a record, or make DailyCheck an emergency service. Open the app to compare the latest record with the notification.
