Setup & troubleshooting

Check storage before adding an attachment

Review available iPhone storage if saving or creating attachments fails. Device storage and iCloud storage are separate capacities.

Check which error you actually received

Write down the app’s wording before changing storage. A missing permission, account problem, or unavailable network can resemble a saving failure. Do not assume storage is the cause without evidence.

Review device capacity

  1. Open iPhone Settings and choose General.
  2. Open iPhone Storage and read the available space.
  3. Review Apple’s recommendations and identify information you no longer need.
  4. Preserve any file you want before deleting it elsewhere.
  5. Return to DailyCheck and test a small, nonprivate attachment.

Keep shared information intact

Do not delete DailyCheck or remove its private shares just to test storage. Buying iCloud storage does not automatically increase local device space. If the error names iCloud, investigate that account-specific message separately.

Keep your chosen check-in routine simple

A private update on your iPhone, shared only with your chosen people.
