An invitation is still waiting

Resolve the waiting state

1. Confirm that Messages sent the invitation to the intended person.
2. Ask them to install DailyCheck and sign in to their own iCloud account.
3. Ask them to open the original invitation on their iPhone.
4. Check whether Apple’s acceptance step completed.
5. Return to DailyCheck on both phones and review the connection.
6. Only test delivery after the person is connected.

If the invitation is outdated

Review the person’s entry in DailyCheck before sending another invitation. If access was stopped, an older invitation may no longer work.

What waiting does not mean

It does not mean the person ignored a check-in or that an update was read. It describes the connection setup.
