Find a person when Contacts access is limited

Confirm the contact exists first

Open the Contacts app and find the intended person. Check the current phone number. A permission change cannot create a contact that is absent from the phone.

Review the permitted contacts

1. Open iPhone Settings and choose Privacy & Security.
2. Open Contacts and select DailyCheck if it is listed.
3. Review the access choices available in your installed iOS version.
4. If you choose limited access, include the intended contact.
5. Return to DailyCheck and choose the person again, or use its available manual entry option.

Selecting a contact is only preparation

Contacts access helps choose a recipient. It does not send or accept the private invitation. Review the actual Messages address before sending, then confirm acceptance and a new check-in.
