Setup & troubleshooting
Choose who receives your check-ins
Choose up to four people you trust to receive the updates you send. Ask each person before connecting them.
Decide on your circle
- Choose people who actually want to receive the update.
- Explain that a check-in is something you send yourself, without location tracking or automatic alarms.
- Agree which ordinary contact route you will use when you want a reply.
- Open the people setup in DailyCheck and invite each chosen person.
- Check the list again before attaching personal notes, photos, or recordings.
The limit is four recipients
Every chosen person needs DailyCheck and iCloud. Both sender and recipients use the core experience for free. Remove a person if you need to choose someone else.
Keep the expectation small
Receiving a check-in does not appoint someone as a responder. Agree on any real responsibility through a direct conversation.
