Setup & troubleshooting

Recover a DailyCheck screen that stops responding

If DailyCheck’s screen stops responding, close and reopen the app. Then check whether the action finished before trying it again.

Identify the last action

Note whether you were saving a check-in, sending an invitation, or stopping access. A frozen display does not tell you whether the underlying action completed.

Reopen and inspect the result

  1. Open iPhone’s App Switcher.
  2. Find DailyCheck and swipe its preview upward to close it.
  3. Open DailyCheck again.
  4. Read the latest record or connection status before repeating the action.
  5. If the screen remains unresponsive, restart the phone and check for an app update.

Do not turn recovery into repeated sends

An invitation or record may already exist after reopening. Check the visible result first. If the failure repeats, report the last action, app version, and exact screen. Deleting the app is a separate action with potential data loss.
