Say what happened or what you would like. “Lovely morning in the garden” and “Can we talk after dinner?” carry more useful context than a long update you did not want to write.

Your chosen people see the note with the record you share. A note is not a private message to just one recipient. Check who receives your updates before adding sensitive details.
