Setup & troubleshooting

Send your first DailyCheck check-in

Install DailyCheck, choose the sender experience during setup, and tap “I’m okay”. Connect a recipient to let them receive private updates.

Before you start

Use an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Sign in to iCloud with your own Apple Account. The person receiving your check-in also needs DailyCheck and iCloud.

Make the first record

  1. Open DailyCheck and complete the short setup as the person who checks in.
  2. Choose the name that should appear with your check-ins.
  3. On the main screen, tap “I’m okay”. Choose a different check-in when that better describes what you want to say.
  4. Review the confirmation. Recording a check-in on your phone and delivering it to someone else are separate things.
  5. Connect your chosen person through the app’s invitation flow, then send a new check-in and ask them to confirm it appears.

If nobody receives it

Check that the recipient accepted the invitation and that both phones have an internet connection. A simulator example or a local record does not prove delivery.

Keep your daily check-in in DailyCheck

A private update on your iPhone, shared only with your chosen people.
