Setup & troubleshooting

Choose a photo for a DailyCheck check-in

Choose an image you want every connected recipient to see. If the photo you need is missing, review the picker and the app’s available photo access.

Prepare the image outside the send action

Open the photo on your iPhone first. Check that it is available and that the whole picture is suitable to share. A document or address in the background may be more revealing than the subject.

Select and review the attachment

  1. Start the check-in and open its photo attachment control.
  2. Select the intended image using the displayed picker.
  3. If it is unavailable, review the available access in Settings and choose only the access you want.
  4. Review the selected attachment before finishing the check-in.
  5. Ask a recipient to open the image when testing delivery.

Avoid broad access as a reflex

Picker behavior and permission choices vary with the installed version. Selecting one image and allowing library access are different decisions. A plain check-in remains available if you do not want to attach a photo.
